A typical CMF design project follows the following phases within Design 360 approach:

CMF research: In this stage, we analyse the current competitive landscape and study global products to capture CMF trends. This helps us define broad themes of visual design for the given product categories.

CMF conceptualization: Keeping in mind the brand position and the identified themes and trends, we conceptualize product proposals using CAD renderings. We augment our visualization with the use of swatches.

CMF engineering: Our designers, engineers and model makers work hand in hand to translate the design concepts into production worthy specifications. This is an intense phase requiring knowledge of materials, processes as well as production and distribution.

Prototyping and testing: We believe that the real feel of the product comes only through its physical model. That’s why we believe in making physical samples at every stage of the product development starting with swatches for colour studies. As the product form starts to get finalized, we make aesthetic models with real materials and finishes so they can be shown to end users, dealers and other stakeholders.
