Rodenticides

• Rodenticides: Vitamin D is also used as a rodenticide – it is efficacious, safe for non-targets and environmental-friendly. Fermenta’s cholecalciferol is used as an ingredient for Vitamin D based rodenticides.

• Vitamin K1: Vitamin K1 also known as Phytonadione or Phylloquinone is a fat-soluble vitamin that plays an essential role in blood clotting & is also required for the development of healthy bones and teeth. Vitamin K status is low in individuals with gastrointestinal disorders, fat malabsorption, liver disease, or after prolonged antibiotic therapy coupled with compromised dietary intake. Impaired blood clotting is the clinical symptom of Vitamin K deficiency, adults at risk of vitamin K deficiency also include patients taking anticoagulant drugs, which are Vitamin K antagonists. Fermenta offers Vitamin K1 as API and 5% spray dried variants.
