You will be trained by experienced microsuction audiologists with over 10 years of experience. Our audiologists all have previous NHS experience and worked across most NHS ENT departments across the West Midlands.
They all have a minimum standard Bsc in Audiological sciences and have extensive experience of ear related pathologies and more importantly the micro suction procedure with thousands of procedures under their belts.
That balance between clinical expertise and teaching makes them ideal to deliver the most comprehensive training.
All of our trainers perform the microsuction and ear irrigation procedure on a daily basis, you will be taught by expeerts with a wealth of experience.
The cost of the one day ear wax removal training program is £549+vat
The course consists of two parts. The first part is 8 hours of elearning material which is sent across to all delegates before the date of the course. This is an opportunity to digest all clinical and theory based material before you come to us for your practical day.
The second element is your practical day. This is where we will walk you through the application of the procedure along with all relevant aspects including training equipment, indemnity insurance, real life patient interaction, and finally performing the procedure on our volunteer patients
There is a practical assessment during your practical day to ensure you can perform the procedure effectively and more importantly safely.
The course consists of 6.5 cpd points accredited by the cpd company.
We will provide you with business support after the training program to ensure you can develop your businesses. This includes a step by step process of how to set up your business, how to market your business effectively. This is a guide developed by our directors to ensure every decision you make is the correct one for your business. Our directors are always available for ongoing advice after you have completed the course.
The course is suitable only for the medical and clinical backgrounds we have stated on our website. Suitable clinical experience is a must for this course.
The foundation of our course is to ensure you have the opportunity to practise with real volunteers. We go to great lengths to ensure you have suitable cases to practise on during your practical day.
Yes this ear wax removal training program is ideal for independent hearing care practice owners. It will give you all the necessary training to allow you to perform both the ear wax microsuction procedure and ear irrigation respectively.
We advise on the day that you wear clothing which is comfortable and contains pockets. You will be carrying battery packs so this is quite important. Some of our delegates come in scrubs or their clinical attire which is also perfectly fine.
We always provide certification on the successful completion of the ear wax removal training course, at the end of the course with a photo opportunity with your team and trainers.
With the new first initiative prioritising ear health towards and away from community GP practices it is important to be in a position to facilitate microsuction in order to help patients. Most now find a greater volume of patients coming in to have ear related pathologies treated.
Training is provided at your clinical site by our expert microsuction audiologists. We have a wealth of experience in training pharmacists both at our centres and at your own premises saving you from having to lose clinic time. What we ask when we come to you is that you have booked in volunteers and potential patients you can practise on during the day.
We provide both endoscopic training and loupe training. It is contingent upon what a pharmacy practise would like to use in terms of the equipment used.

We have been running our training programme for over 4 years and in that time we have trained 100’s of nurses doctors and pharmacists in the procedure.
We also train you in small groups of two or three to give you as much value and exposure to our trainers expertise rather then dilute the course by training more then 5-10 delegates per course.

We have no subscription fees for the equipment and it is a one of cost to purchase the equipment. The choice is between the endoscopic equipment or the loupe based equipment, both of which are available.
